Today, we’re making the salmon au fonio dish for 4 people.
It’s simple and it doesn’t take much time to prepare.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
4 salmon pavers
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Chive
Preparation:
Cook the salmon with steam. It’s fast enough. Allow about 10 minutes.
Prepare the Fonio.
In a saucepan saute 1 cup fonio with 3 tbsp. tablespoon of olive oil.
Add 2 ½ cups hot water, salt and pepper. You do not need to be constantly stir the fonio; stir it just once is enough at the beginning of the preparation, and it is allowed to swell with cooking very slowly.
Turn off the heat and let stand 2 minutes again. Add a little paprika according to your taste.
Crumble the cooked salmon.
Arrange with a circle and prepare a layer of Fonio, a layer of salmon and some chives.

Here is a little secret: fonio can be cooked in water for a result in well-separated grains (couscous, taboulé), but also pilaf and return it to onions, shallots or ginger.
